Der Glacier-Bay-Nationalpark ist im Süden von Alaska, USA. Im Park ziehen sich 17 Gletscher von hohen, schneebedeckten Bergen bis in das von den Gezeiten beeinflusste Wasser der von Fjorden durchzogenen, Glacier Bay genannten Bucht (Gletscher Bucht). Glacier Bay ist Ziel sehr vieler Alaska Kreuzfahrten. Häufig brechen über 50 Meter hohe Eisbrocken ab und fallen explosionsartig in das Wasser.

Glacier Bay ist Ziel sehr vieler Alaska Kreuzfahrten. Häufig brechen über 50 Meter hohe Eisbrocken ab und fallen explosionsartig in das Wasser. Der Park wird von der UNESCO als Teil eines internationalen Biosphärenreservats und als Weltnaturerbe eingeordnet. Der höchste Punkt im Park liegt an der Flanke des 4.663 Meter hohen Mount Fairweather, dessen Gipfel jedoch auf kanadischer Seite außerhalb der Parkgrenzen liegt. Bären, Bergziegen und Wale sind in der Region anzutreffen.
